Description

La Ferme de Sept Lunes is an organic, polyculture farm located in the hills of Saint-Joseph in the Rhône Valley. The estate began in 1984 and is continued on by Jean Delorbe as the third generation. It exists as much more than just vines, with a selection of grains and orchard fruits also planted. Their holdings sit on a bedrock of granite.

Glou is made from young vine Gamay on the property. Two-thirds of the fruit is destemmed and one-third undergoes whole-cluster natural fermentation. The wine is aged in-tank to retain a purity of fruit flavours and vibrancy, seeing only a small addition of sulphur prior to bottling to ensure stabilisation.

Its name of Glou is a perfect match for the basis of this bundle; a dangerously drinkable wine that’s best enjoyed in a relaxed environment shared with friends or family.
