WELCOME PARTY
Burnt Ends | 7—11pm
To kick start Uncorked: Modern Australia, we’re partnering with Burnt Ends for a night of top tier Australian BBQ feasting & list of wines that will be impossible to say no to!
Expect smoky, wood-fired plates served fresh from the grill, alongside a one-off à la carte wine list created exclusively for the occasion. With DJs spinning into the night, this is a welcome party built for great food, great bottles, and many clinked glasses.
SAT 23 MAY
THE GRAND WALKABOUT TASTING
Cygnet @ QT Hotel | 1—4.30pm
Taking over the iconic ground-floor restaurant of QT Hotel, the main focal point of Uncorked: Modern Australia will provide a direct connection with producers spanning the spectrum of styles emanating from Australia. Brought together with a focus upon looking to the future of what is possible from Australia, the line up here serves to showcase another side of oft-maligned Australian wine styles. As the largest Australia wine tasting of Singapore’s calendar, this is the event not to be missed for consumers and professionals alike.
With well over 200 wines available for tasting, this will be the largest known tasting in South-East Asia of Australian wines in Singapore.
1.00—4.30pm | V.I.P Access
VIP ticket holders will receive exclusive early access for the first 60 minutes of the event plus an additional premium cuvée on tasting from each producer, in addition to the full range of wines available to General Admission tickets. There will be over 200 wines on tasting for VIP ticket holders.
Additionally, each VIP ticket carries $100 credit to be used on Clink Clink’s ranging of Uncorked: Modern Australia wines
Each attendee of The Grand Walkabout Tasting will receive their own SKLO Linear N.2 wine glass to keep (valued at $35).
2.00—4.30pm | General Admission
General Admission ticket holders will have the opportunity to taste over 150 different wines, showcasing the wide diversity and range that the wines of Modern Australia has to offer.
Additionally, each GA ticket carries $50 credit to be used on Clink Clink’s ranging of Uncorked: Modern Australia wines
Each attendee of The Grand Walkabout Tasting will receive their own SKLO Linear N.2 wine glass to keep (valued at $35).
SUN 24 MAY
SUNDAY CELLAR SESSION
Claudine | 12pm—3pm
To round out the trio of days, we’re assembling the entourage of producers for a veritable feast of both vinous and culinary delights. Long tables. Large format bottles. Lavish lunching. A relaxed yet refined final toast to the festival, in a truly convivial manner.
We invite consumers to rummage their own cellar through for a special bottle or two to share, alongside something from the wineries. With more than 50 wines from the producer’s cellars, this will be a lunch of some truly special bottles & cheers.
