A truly unique blend, that’s easier tasted than described. Described by the Bourguignons as “sapid, tense and saliva-inducing, evoking a sensation of the limestone from the Kimmeridgian. The finish holds a noble bitterness, accompanied by a beautiful salinity. The Mauzac and Verdant bring light oxidative notes, typical of the varieties.” At just 12% alcohol, from such a region, it is certainly not underripe or lacking in expression of flavour.
