Two young brothers that are on a mission to discover and accentuate the nuances of soils within Vouvray. From a blend of parcels across this small domaine’s holdings across a variety of tuffeau, red clay and flint soils.

Clos Thierrière is a fresh estate, with 2021 being their first vintage. Twin brothers, Guillaume and Baptiste Frey, fell in love with winemaking during the pandemic under the tutelage of Vincent Carême. They purchased 12 hectares in Vernou-Sur-Brenne amongst a few neighboring natural winemakers and have produced a wonderfully successful first and second vintage of AOC Vouvray.

Les Pleurs is from a blend of parcels across this small domaine’s holdings across a variety of tuffeau, red clay and flint soils.
